Doctors miss the patterns because they don't have time to really see the person.

A note from the founder
Sunflowers Smiling in the Dark.
I built Roomside in loving memory of my sister and her favorite flower—the sunflower. Most people know that sunflowers chase the sun, turning their faces toward the light. But when the sky gets completely dark, they do something incredible: they turn and face each other, sharing their strength to survive the night.
When I was diagnosed with skin cancer, I lived through that exact darkness. I realized very quickly that the hardest part wasn't just processing the medical news—it was the overwhelming blur of the clinical rooms, the critical questions I completely forgot to ask the moment the doctor started speaking, and the important details that got lost in the chaos. In those moments, we need someone to turn to.
Roomside is designed to be that sunflower for you—the quiet, focused companion I wish I'd had in those rooms with me. It's here to turn toward you when the system feels overwhelming, keeping you organized, grounded, and completely heard.
— with care, Kimberly
